- Role: Freelance Short-form Video Editor

- Volume: Plenty of work with no hard cap; actual volume depends on available jobs and your capacity
- Content: Short English videos — entertainment, funny, animals, storytelling, commentary
What you'll do
- Receive source clips, content, templates and editing briefs from the team / Trello.
- Edit vertical 9:16 videos (1080 × 1920, 59.94 fps) using the provided templates.
- Remove silences and filler; optimise pacing and climaxes.
- Reframe and track subjects with position keyframes, avoiding black bars.
- Create accurate English subtitles; layout, effects and colours follow each channel's style.
- Add background music, duck it under dialogue, sync the beat drop with the payoff.
- Smooth audio transitions, QA the video and export high-quality MP4.
- Mandatory: follow the SOP step by step; fix technical issues if the output is below standard.
Requirements
- Can edit fast-paced short videos with a strong sense of hook, pacing and storytelling.
- Premiere Pro proficiency is a plus; other tools are fine if results meet the SOP.
- English listening good enough to proofread captions and punctuation.
- Comfortable with keyframes, crop / reframe, caption animation and audio work.
- Detail-oriented, meets committed deadlines, has a computer that handles Full HD editing.
- A Shorts / Reels / TikTok portfolio is a plus — practical skill matters more than years of experience.
Pay & workflow
- Flat rate: USD 3 per approved video, paid per output.
- Take on as many videos as your capacity and the team's volume allow.
- Payment schedule & method, revision limits and delivery times are agreed before starting.
